INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RECENT INNOVATIVE TRENDS IN COMMUNICATION AND COMPUTERS(ICRITCC’21)
MARCH 25th & 26th 2021
The virtual “International Conference on Recent Innovative Trends in Communication and Computers (ICRITCC’21) was held on 25th and 26th March 2021.
The first day of the conference started with the prayer song and Digital Lighting of Kuthuvilaku.
Dr. M. Mary Helta Daisy, HOD/ECE [Co-convenor, ICRITCC’21] declared the conference officially open and delivered the welcome address.
Ms. R.L. Janne Helma, Asst. Prof/ECE, [Organising Secretary, ICRITCC’21] introduced the conference in a nutshell.
Dr. J. Maheswaran, Principal/SXCCE,[Convenor,ICRITCC’21] felicitated the conference with his wishes and blessings.
Presidential address penned by Rev. Fr. Dr. M. Maria William, Correspondent /SXCCE,[Patron,ICRITCC’21] was delivered by Dr. M. Mary Helta Daisy, HOD/ECE, due to unavoidable situations for him to attend the Conference.
Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. S. Edwin Lawrence, Asst. Prof/ECE,[Organising Joint Secretary,ICRITCC’21].
Ms. S. Caroline, Asst. Prof/ECE handled the first session by introducing the Keynote speaker Prof. Dr. A. Milton[Co-ordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell, SXCCE]. He offered the opening keynote on “Machine Intelligence in Speech Interactive Communication”.
Next session was handled by Mr. R. Florin Raja Singh, Asst. Prof./ECE by introducing the speaker Asso. Prof. Dr. Thinagaran Perumal, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra, Malaysia, who offered the keynote on the topic, “Consumer Centric Internet of Things: Catalyzing the need for interoperability.
Paper presentation session was handled by Dr. B.C. Preethi, Asst. Prof./ECE and session chairs were Dr. R.P. Anto Kumar, Head/CSE/SXCCE and Dr. S. Amala Shanthi, Asso. Prof. , Noorul Islam Center of Higher Education
Papers were presented on the topic
1.“ Remote Monitoring of Elders Using Internet of Things” presented by Yousuf Naser Al Husaini from Arab Open University, Oman
2.“Stable Coins and the Next Big Thing in E-Commerce” presented by Zoya Ahmad, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, India.
Afternoon session was handled by Ms. A. Anitha, Asst. Prof./ECE. She introduced the keynote speaker Mr. B. Magesh Kumar, Product Security Lead & Cyber Security Solutions Specialist, CISCO Systems Pvt.Ltd., Bangalore, India. He offered the keynote speech on the topic “ Manufacturer Usage Description(MUD)- IoT Security”.
Next session was handled by Ms. V. Femila Savio, Asst. Prof./ECE, by introducing the keynote speaker Dr. M. Lakshmi, Prof., Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Kaatankulathur, India. She offered her keynote speech on the topic “ Application of IoT and AI in Health Care Domain”.
This was followed by paper presentations session handled by Dr. S. Absa, Asst. Prof./ECE and session chairs were Prof. Dr. D. Jeraldin Auxillia & Prof. Dr. A. Subitha. The paper presented was, “Detection of Non Frontal and covered face image using Viola Jones Algorithm” by Jenu prabha. J.J.
The Second day of the Virtual International Conference ICRITCC’21 started at 09.40 IST. Dr. Y.R. Annie Bessant, Asst.Prof./ECE, handled the session by introducing the keynote speaker Dr. J. Joshua Thomas, Senior Lecturer, UOW, Malaysia, KDU Penang University College, Malaysia. He addressed about “ Deep Learning Architectural Paradigm on Autonomous Vehicle Guidance Systems”.
Followed by this, Ms. A.C. Jinisha, Asst. Prof./ECE, introduced the speaker Mr. R.S. Krishna Kumar, Digital Transformation Specialist, Infrastructure Services for IBM India. He addressed about “Transforming Education in a Cognitive Era”.
Mr. E. Christo Elgin Raj, Asst. Prof./ECE introduced the speaker Ms. Venetha Venkatesan, Agile Enthusiast, Transformation Specialist and Technical acumen, Cognizant, Belgium. She shared her knowledge about ‘Design Thinking”.
Ms. C. Renit, Asst. Prof./ECE handled the introductory session of Dr. Reshmy Krishnan, Head of Research and Associate Professor, Muscat College, Sultanate of Oman.
She shared about Curriculum Sustainability through Digital Transformation.
The second day 26th MARCH 2021 [Afternoon Session] of Virtual International Conference ICRITCC’21 started with the paper presentation in three parallel Google meet links from 13.30(IST) to 15.00(IST).
In Google meet link 1(meet.google.com/akc-yqau-dhd): Dr. Y.R. Annie Bessant was the venue director, she presided the paper presentation in the field of communication and computers. The session chairs were Dr. N. Shanthi, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education and Dr. C. Helen Sulochana, Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering. This session had 6 papers on various fields of communication and computers.
