National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a ranking methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education (MoE) Government of INDIA, to rank Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in INDIA. The framework was approved by the former Ministry of Human Resource Development (now MoE) and launched by the Minister on 29th September 2015.
