The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is established in the academic year 2022-2023 with an intake of 60 students. It is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Anna University. It aims the students to acquire technical skills to perform data processing, analysis and visualization in multiple real-time applications. It also aspires to produce accomplished, innovative and ethical data scientist who will lead the way in finding problems and solving them when they move into the industry or as entrepreneurs.
