The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI]-EEE Student chapter

 

The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI] is the largest multi-disciplinary professional body in India for Engineers. It was established in 1920 with its Headquarters located in Kolkata and incorporated under Royal Charter on 9th September, 1935 by the then His Majesty of King George V. IEI helps Engineering professionals to undertake planned and structured Training Programmes, Seminars, Workshops, etc. for Continual Professional Development (CPD) of the professionals.

The Institution of Engineers (India) IEI EEE student chapter at St.Xaviers Catholic College of Engineering, Chunkankadai is recognized as an authorized student chapter .The inauguration of IEI EEE student chapter held on 11/01/2019. Our student chapter is organizing various activities like workshops, seminars, energy conclave etc. It helps to create a bridge of interaction between the students and industries that increase their knowledge, required by the industries.

         IEI envisions to be one of the largest and vibrant professional society of engineers, technologists and applied scientists in the world, covering all branches of engineering, committed to the promotion of continual professional and intellectual development and contributing significantly to the growth of technological knowledge, skill and capacity building of the highest order, demonstrated through innovative approach towards the cause of sustainable development.
