IOB PAY .Math Club Inauguration(2022-2023)
The inauguration of Math Club was conducted on 22/12/2022 at 9.30am in the Einstein Seminar hall. Ms.T.Julius Jenisha, Treasurer of Math Club warmly welcomed the gathering. The Faculty Advisor, Dr.M.Felix Nes Mabel introduced the new office bearers. The student secretary Ms.M.Theras Santhiya presented the annual plan. Dr.L.Mary Florida, Head of Mathematics introduced the chief guest. The chief guest Dr.J.R.V.Edward, Principal, Scott Christian College, Nagercoil highlighted the importance of Mathematics in our life from sitting in a room to cooking in the kitchen. Dr.J.Maheswaran, the principal honored the chief guest and felicitate the gathering. Mr.B.Shane Lensar, the joint secretary rendered vote of thanks. The meeting came to an end with the college anthem.
Quiz Competition
The quiz competition was conducted on 12/05/2023 and 13/05/2023. The main objective of this competition was to develop student’s Math skills and knowledge in engineering field. The quiz competition was conducted by Mathematics faculty members. They conducted the quiz in an interesting and motivating way. Students participated in a good manner. It helps the students to recall the basic ideas of Testing of hypothesis. The first three places were selected and prizes were given to each class.
Mathematical Tricks using Calculator
The calculator class was conducted from 7/6/2023 to 9/6/2023. The main objective of this class was to develop student’s Mathematical ability using calculator. This calculator class was conducted by Mathematics faculty members. They teach how to handle the calculator in easy and interesting way. It will be useful for the students to solve difficult mathematical problems in quick and easy manner..
