Annual Plan (2021- 2022)

ACM brings together computing educators, researchers, and professionals to inspire exchange of ideas, share resources, and address the field’s challenges. As the world’s largest computing society, ACM strengthens the profession’s collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and appreciation of technical excellence.

Currently ACM student Chapter has 30 members. All the members of ACM student chapter meet on every Thursday from 12.30 P.M to 12.55 P.M in Embedded Lab, to discuss about the activities, plans and their implementations. The meeting starts with ACM code of ethics and then followed by Presidential talk and Technical talk by ACM student members.

ACM is active in developing the skills of the students by conducting workshops, seminars hands-on training and Distinguished Speaker Program for the benefit of student members. They are also active in co-sponsoring International conferences and symposiums conducted in the college. 

ACM has planned to conduct hands-on training on the topic cyber security on 21/10/2021. During the first week of November we have planned to conduct technical skill enrichment programme for young budding engineers to promote industrial revolution 4.0.

To improve the knowledge on current trends of technology we have planned to conduct a webinar on the topic nanotechnology and device modelling on 18/11/2021.

To instill the practice of referring the journal papers for the project work a group activity is planned during the month of first week of December and a motivation programme to present the same as poster in the chosen domain. It is planned to conduct distinguished lecture program on 9th February 2022 to improve the knowledge of the students about the recent technologies in computing and communication.  Finally, on 15-3-2022 the valedictory function is planned.
