COURSE OVERVIEW

This course enables the participants to learn the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and printing drawings with AutoCAD® and AutoCAD LT®. Using hands-on exercises, the participants explore how to create 2D production drawings.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The main objective is to teach you the basic commands necessary for professional 2D drawing, design, and drafting using AutoCAD. After completing this course, students will be able to:

▪ Navigate the user interface

▪ Use the fundamental features

▪ Use the precision drafting tools to develop accurate technical drawings

▪ Present drawings in a detailed format After completing this course, students will become more productive when creating, annotating and printing drawings with AutoCAD.

 

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Basic Computer Knowledge

Module 3: Drawing Organization and Inquiry Commands

Module 4: Altering Objects

Module 5: Working with Layouts

Module 6: Annotating the Drawing

Module 7: Dimensioning

Module 8: Hatching Objects

Module 9: Working with Reusable Content

Module 10: Creating Additional Drawing Objects

Module 11: Plotting Your Drawings

Module 12: Creating Drawing Templates.

PROJECT WORK

Participants are required to do a project work as a part of the program. The project work should be done in groups, with 4 or 5 participants in a group
