Dr. V. Christus Jeya Singh graduated in Bachelor of Engineering in 1995 from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. He obtained his Masters Degree (M.E.) in Thermal Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1996. He received his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai. He has been the Head of Mechanical Engineering at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering since 1998, with about twenty years of teaching experience. His interests include thermal engineering, energy technology, and biomass gasification. He has published over ten research articles and is actively involved in academic development programs. He holds memberships in IET, ISHRAE, SAE, and ISTE.

Dr. G. Antony Miraculas earned his B.E. in 2000 and M.E. in Thermal Engineering in 2001. He was awarded a Ph.D. by Anna University, Chennai, in 2015. Since 2006, he has served as a faculty member at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering. With more than two decades of experience, he is currently the Head of the Department. He guides six research scholars in the field of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on renewable energy and biomaterials.

Dr. Ajith J Kings earned his degrees in Mechanical Engineering and CAD/CAM. With over eleven years of teaching and two years of industrial experience, his research focuses on biofuels from algae. He has published in international SCI journals and is a lifetime member of ISTE. His technical skills include ANSYS, IDEAS, Pro-E, AutoCAD, and optimization techniques. He has also organized technical seminars and workshops.

Dr. M. Felix Xavier Muthu completed his B.E. in 2002 and his M.E. in Manufacturing Engineering in 2004. He received his Ph.D. in Welding Technology from Anna University in 2015. With over thirteen years of teaching and research experience, he is an approved supervisor at Anna University. His expertise includes Welding Technology, Material Science, and Mechanical Testing.

Dr. J. Jebeen Moses was graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Master degree in CAD/CAM. He obtained Ph.D in Metal matrix composites at Anna University, Chennai. He has sixteen years of teaching and research involvement in engineering institutions. He has taught various courses related to Mechanical Engineering and experienced in software like Inventor, Fusion360, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc. He has organized many technical seminars and workshops.

Dr. M. Gerald Arul Selvan was graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Post graduated in Manufacturing Engineering. He completed Ph.D in Anna University, Chennai. He has published research papers in reputed journals. He has been in the teaching profession for the past 8 years. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. His area of interest is Composite materials.

Dr. M. Antony Forster obtained his B.E degree in Mechanical Engineering from RVS College of Engg, Dindigul, and M.E. degree in Industrial Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engg, Madurai, both affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. He is the recipient of 3rd prize in the National Student's Design Competition. He has completed his Ph.D. in Anna University. His industrial career spans over 7 and odd years in leading industries in the capacities of Engineer, Asst. Manager in India & Manager in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He has 17 and odd years of experience in teaching, including at Institut Megatech, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and 2 other engineering colleges in Nagercoil. He has organized many technical seminars and workshops and is the coordinator for ISHRAE student's chapter at St. Xavier's Engg College.

Mr. J. Gnana Rajan was graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Master degree in CAD/CAM from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, India in the year 2011. He has more than twenty five years of teaching and research involvement in engineering institutions and he has taught various courses related to Mechanical Engineering. He has organized many technical seminars and workshops. His area of interest is in composite materials.

Prof. V. T. Vijumon graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, in 2002 and a Masters of Technology degree in Advanced Manufacturing from SASTRA University, Tanjore, in 2005. He has completed his Ph.D. in Anna University, Chennai. With nearly twenty years of experience in teaching and research at engineering institutions, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering since 2005. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he has been serving in the position of Deputy Controller of Examinations since 2022. He has published over five research articles in international journals and conferences. He has attended more than hundred seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs. His research interests encompass material sciences, mechanical testing, and composite materials. He is proficient in software tools such as Inventor, Fusion360, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc. He teaches various mechanical engineering courses and has organized numerous technical seminars and workshops. He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

Mr. P. Jose Aloysius was graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Master degree in CAD. He has more than fifteen years of teaching and research involvement in engineering institutions and 2 years of industrial experience. He has taught various courses related to Mechanical Engineering and experienced in software like AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion360, Solidworks, Ansys, EdgeCAM, SolidEdge, CFD, etc. He has organised many technical seminars and workshops.

Dr. Y. Balto received his B.E. Degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Jeyamatha Engineering, affiliated to Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Thirunelveli and his M.E Degree (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) in College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University and completed his Ph.D (Energy Efficient Buildings) in Anna University, Chennai. He was done master’s degree project work at IIT-M under the research area of synthesis of nano particles and its characterization and the work was published in international level referred journal. He joined as Assistant Professor in St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering during the year 2010. Before joining this institution, he gained seven years of teaching experience from various engineering institutions in Tamil Nadu, India. He has guided more than 30 M.E/M.Tech students and many B.E. students for their Project Works. His major research work includes heat flux reduction in buildings, heat load estimations, developing novel thermal insulation materials and synthesis & characterization of Nano materials. His areas of interest are energy efficient buildings, heat transfer, nano & composite materials, finite element analysis and advances in manufacturing engineering. Being Tamil as his mother tongue, he is proficient in English and Malayalam languages. His hobbies are reading books, and delivering motivational talks to students.

Dr. M. L. Ajin graduated with a Diploma degree in Electronics and ROBOTICS, Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization (Engineering Design) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering. With over fifteen years of academic experience, his expertise encompasses Composite Materials, Renewable Energy, Nano Materials and Nano fluids in heat transfer application. He holds scientific papers from reputed international journals and attended many international conferences and workshops. He has played an active role in technical workshops and conferences, fostering knowledge exchange and skill development.

Mr. M. M. Anwar Rajesh was graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Post graduated in Manufacturing Engineering. He has been in the teaching profession for the past 12 years. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. His area of interest is Composite materials.

Mr. M. Anto Xavier Roche was graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Post graduated in Manufacturing Engineering. He has been in the teaching profession for the past ten years. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. He has taught various courses related to Mechanical Engineering and experienced in software like Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc. He has organised many technical seminars and workshops.

He has graduated with honours in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2012 from Udaya School of Engineering, Kanyakumari which is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. He has received master’s degree in Energy Engineering with honours in the year 2014 from St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, which is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. He has joined St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering in the year 2015 and has a teaching experience of about 4 years. He has done research in the area of Solar-Wind energy and Grid integration.

Mr. T. Michel Raj was graduated in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2011 from University College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. He has received master’s degree in Engineering Design in the year 2013 from Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. He has been in the teaching profession for the past eight years. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. He has taught various courses related to Mechanical Engineering and experienced in software like ANSYS. He is currently doing research in the area of Polymer matrix Composites.

Dr. G. Shanthos Kumar was graduated in Mechanical Engineering and post graduated in Engineering Design. He has done Ph.D. degree from Annamalai University in 2021. He has four years of teaching experience and five years of research experience in various engineering institutions. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering, Nagercoil. He got UGC-BSR Research Fellowship during his research period. He has published ten research articles in various reputed journals, out of which seven articles are in SCI journals. He has attended many international and national conferences/workshops/FDPs. His area of interest is Materials Joining Process, Materials Characterization, Testing of Materials, and Finite Element Analysis.

Mr. F. Adritowin graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 from St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil. He obtained his Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Energy Engineering with First Rank and Distinction in 2021 from the same institution. In 2023, he earned his M.B.A. in Human Resources Management from Anna University, Chennai. He is proficient in software such as MATLAB, Scilab, AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CFD. He won the 150 Innovators Challenge on Sustainability organized by the IET. He currently serves as Assistant Professor at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil. His interests include Sustainable Hydrogen Technologies, Additive Manufacturing, Future Vehicle Technologies, and Alternative Fuels. He also acts as the Department Placement Coordinator, IIC Coordinator, Innovation Ambassador, IGEN SDG Ambassador, and GATE Exam Coordinator.

Mr. JUDE VINOTH V graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 from St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. He received his master's degree in Engineering Design in 2020 from Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli. He has been in the teaching profession for the past two years. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. He is currently conducting research in the area of Composite Materials and is also the Convener for the Drone Club and Soft Skills Club.

Dr. Sergius Joe M., an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering department, has over seven years of experience teaching Mechanical Engineering and holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering. His research interests include biomaterials, nanocomposites, material characterization, agro-waste utilization, and the characterization of natural fibers and their composites. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University in 2024 and has published a number of research papers in reputable international journals. In the Department of Mechanical Engineering of St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, he also holds the position of Research Supervisor, affiliated with Anna University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and a Lifetime member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

He graduated in B.E., Mechanical Engineering and then received a post-graduation degree in M.E in Engineering Design from Anna University, Chennai. He has more than ten years of teaching experience and over eight years of industrial experience in the area of Design.

Dr. Anjan Augustine is a distinguished researcher with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate Program in Data Science. His research primarily focuses on waste-to-energy gasification. With over three years of academic experience, his expertise encompasses thermodynamics, heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and renewable energy technologies. He has played an active role in technical workshops and conferences, fostering knowledge exchange and skill development. Beyond academia, Dr. Anjan has hands-on experience in Arduino-based automation, robotics, and machine learning applications in engineering. He has also made significant contributions to scientific research publications in the field of biomass energy conversion.

Research Interests: Biomass Co-Gasification, Waste-to-Energy, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Machine Learning Applications in Engineering.

Mr. D. Amal has completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 under Tamil Nadu Technical Board, Chennai. He has eight years of industrial experience. Currently, he is working as Skilled Assistant in St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu.
