TPO's Message

I warmly welcome Campus Recruitment organizations to participate in our shared goal of excellence. St. Xavier's always provides a proactive learning approach and detailed academic course of action for the students to do well in the professional world. We provide opportunities for students to learn independently, attend conferences, seminars, industrial visits, and in-plant trainings.

The strength of St. Xavier's lies in the facilities it provides for in-house project development. Students also engage in social events through various cells, NSS, NCC, YRC, and sports to foster holistic development — spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

"I am hopeful that the students will be well received by the industry. I wish them grand success and believe they will make remarkable contributions to the professional world."

Training Structure / Model

The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) of SXCCE recognized the need for segregating students into Flowers and Buds to facilitate personalized and efficient training.

Introduction of Flowers and Buds Segregation (2023–2024)

The Flowers and Buds segregation was first implemented during the Even Semester of the academic year 2023–2024.

Introduction of Blossom Training

In the Odd Semester of the academic year 2024–2025, a special core group called Blossoms was introduced for IV-year students.

Training Strategies
Blossom Batch

The Blossoms group receives advanced-level sessions, including:

This prepares them for premium placement opportunities, giving them a competitive edge in recruitment drives. Through tailored mentorship and exclusive industry insights, Blossoms students are groomed for top-tier placements.

Flowers Batch

Students in this category receive special external training to enhance their technical and aptitude skills, preparing them for competitive placements.

Buds Batch

More emphasis is placed on basic skill development, providing additional support in core areas to boost their competence.

Infrastructure

The Training and Placement Cell is functioning at Bishop Leon Memorial Block with state-of-the-art conference hall, placement office, two group discussion halls, and eight interview panel rooms. The cell is also equipped with a Soft-Skills Training Center which conducts comprehensive training sessions on effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Incubation Centre

Flutter Frog, an incubatee, started functioning from April 2023, managed by Mr. Gokul Kumar, alumni entrepreneur, in the SXCCE – Innovation and Incubation Cell.

17 interns from the current third and final years were selected for internship starting from 05th July 2023. These interns work on research and development of the software product as Full Stack Developers.
