Mechanical Engineers’ Guild of Xavier’s (MEGX)

Mechanical Engineers’ Guild of Xavier’s (MEGX) is a professional association driven by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SXCCE. The main intent of MEGX is to foster the development of the students both in the technical and personality fronts. The Mechanical Engineers’ Guild of Xavier’s (MEGX) takes effort to organize technical workshops, symposiums, seminars, training programs, industrial visits and so on.

Facilitate Mechanical learners to explore technical endeavours, entrepreneurial ability and the overall personality that meet global challenges in development, innovation and application of technology in the service of humanity.

Mission

To provide a platform that instills the professional and ethical responsibilities to serve the society.
To guide students in acquiring career oriented jobs, build leadership quality, team work and entrepreneurship qualities.
To provide a platform that facilitates students in acquiring perfect knowledge of intellectual and hands-on experiences.

Objectives of MEGX

To motivate our students to enrich their skills to exquisite universally through various activities.
To enhance the personal and professional attitude that makes a person unique with self-responsibilities.
To realize the significance of team work, interrelation building skills.
To make our students expose to the industrial situations and implement the advances in practical situations through Industrial Visits.

Outcomes of MEGX

To model themselves to equip and enrich their personality that contributes to be a successful academician who are globally accepted.
To design, implement and operate systems in an enterprise and societal context.
