Achievements

The students of our college have participated in various sports and games at the University and state level.

Our college is the Zonal Coordinating Center for Anna University Sports Board Zone 19 for the academic year 2024-2025.
Our college conducted a zonal Physical Directors meeting on 29/08/2024 for Anna University Zone-19.
Our Director of Physical Education (Zone 19 Sports Secretary) and the Principal (Zone-19 Sports Coordinator) attended the meeting conducted by Anna University Sports Board on 04/09/2024 at Anna University, Chennai.
Our college Table Tennis team won Bronze in the Chief Minister Trophy Tournament - District Level on 18/09/2024.
R. Judin Fiona (2nd year ECE) won Bronze in Chief Minister Badminton Tournament in Kanyakumari District on 19/09/2024.
M. Michael Hanly (1st year CSE) won Gold in Chief Minister Boxing Tournament, Regional District Level, Tirunelveli on 19/09/2024.
Men's Table Tennis team won Silver in Anna University Zone-19 tournament at Stella Mary’s College of Engineering on 19/09/2024.
Women’s Badminton team won Bronze in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering on 20/09/2024.
Men’s Badminton team won Silver in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering on 23/09/2024.
Men’s Football team won Silver in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at Mar Ephrem College of Engineering on 27–28/09/2024.
Men’s Cricket team secured Fourth Place in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at Universal College from 24–30/09/2024.
Men’s Basketball team secured Fourth Place in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering on 30/09/2024.
R. Jenisha (4th year IT) won Bronze in 400m at Anna University Zone-19 Athletic Meet at Loyola Institute of Technology on 04/10/2024.
X. Sajin (2nd year Mech) won Bronze in 5000m and Silver in 10,000m at Anna University Zone-19 Athletic Meet on 04–05/10/2024.
T. Anistan (2nd year EEE) won Gold in Long Jump at Anna University Zone-19 Athletic Meet on 05/10/2024.
Men’s Volleyball team participated in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at AVC College of Engineering on 14/10/2024.
Men’s Kabaddi team participated in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at Rohini College of Engineering on 15/10/2024.
Women’s Chess team won Gold in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at Amrita College of Engineering, Nagercoil on 17/10/2024.
Men’s Chess team won Bronze in Anna University Zone-19 Tournament at Amrita College of Engineering, Nagercoil on 17/10/2024.
Women’s Chess team won Silver in Anna University Inter-Zone Tournament at National Engineering College, Kovilpatti on 22–23/10/2024.
Football Camp was conducted from 13/08/2024 to 26/09/2024 (4:15 PM to 6:00 PM).
Badminton Camp was conducted from 21/08/2024 to 19/09/2024 (4:15 PM to 6:00 PM).
Cricket Camp was conducted from 28/08/2024 to 20/09/2024 (4:15 PM to 6:00 PM).

Our Physical Director was a selection committee member for Anna University Table Tennis (Men & Women) team selection at C. Abdul Hakeem College, Melvisharam on 06–07/11/2024.
Our Physical Director was a selection committee member for Anna University Taekwondo (Men & Women) team selection at Stella Mary’s College on 09–10/10/2024.
Our Physical Director coached the Anna University Women’s Chess Team that won Silver at the South Zone Inter-University Tournament at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam from 05–08/12/2024.
Our Physical Director coached the Anna University Women’s Chess Team that participated in the All India Inter-University Tournament at University of Delhi from 18–20/03/2025.
The Annual Sports Meet was held on 27/03/2025 and was inaugurated by Dr. S. Arumuampillai, Southern Railways, Nagercoil.
Adapted Volleyball Tournament for visually impaired men and women held at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering on 31.05.2025.
