Achievements 2023–2024

1. Our college is the Zonal Coordinating Center for Anna University Sports Board Zone 19 for the academic year 2023–24.
2. Our college conducted a zonal Physical Directors meeting on 05/09/2023 for AU Zone-19. Twenty-two members were present regarding the preparation of the zonal sports calendar.
3. Our Director of Physical Education (Zone-19 Sports Secretary) attended a meeting conducted by Anna University Sports Board on 08/09/2023 at Anna University, Chennai.
4. Our college Women Basketball Team participated in the Anna University Zone-19 Basketball Tournament held at Arunachala College of Engineering on 22/09/2023.
5. Our college Men Ball Badminton Team participated in the Anna University Zone-19 Ball Badminton Tournament held at Marthandam College of Engineering on 25/09/2023.
6. Our college Women Badminton Team won the Silver Medal in the Anna University Zone-19 Badminton Tournament held at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering on 09/10/2023.
7. Our college Women Chess Team won the Gold Medal in the Anna University Zone-19 Chess Tournament held at Amrita College of Engineering, Nagercoil on 10/10/2023.
8. Our college Men Chess Team won Fourth Place in the Anna University Zone-19 Chess Tournament held at Amrita College of Engineering, Nagercoil on 10/10/2023.
9. Our college Men Table Tennis Team won the Silver Medal in the Anna University Zone-19 Table Tennis Tournament held at Stella Marry College of Engineering, Nagercoil on 14/10/2023.

12. Our college Cricket Team won Fourth Place in the Anna University Zone-19 Cricket Tournament held at Ponjesly College of Engineering (GPT Nagercoil) on 13/10/2023, 26/10/2023 & 27/10/2023.
13. Our college Men Football Team won Third Place in the Anna University Zone-19 Football Tournament held at MET College of Engineering on 16/10/2023, 17/10/2023 & 27/10/2023.
14. Our college Men Badminton Team won the Silver Medal in the Anna University Zone-19 Badminton Tournament held at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering on 31/10/2023.
15. Our college Men Volleyball Team participated in the Anna University Zone-19 Volleyball Tournament held at AVC College of Engineering on 06/11/2023.
16. Our college Women Chess Team won Fourth Place in the Anna University Inter-Zonal Chess Tournament held at Anand Institute of Higher Technology, Chennai on 08/11/2023 & 09/11/2023.
17. Our student MAXMINUSH. X (III Year ECE) won the Silver Medal in High Jump at the Anna University Zone-19 Athletic Meet held at Loyola Institute of Technology on 14/11/2023.
18. Our student ABEL DENNIS D S (First Year ECE) won the Bronze Medal in Javelin Throw at the Anna University Zone-19 Athletic Meet held at Loyola Institute of Technology on 15/11/2023.
19. Our college Physical Director was one of the selection committee members for the Anna University Badminton Men Team selection held at SRM Valliammai College of Engineering, Chennai on 18/11/2023 & 19/11/2023.
20. Our college Physical Director was one of the selection committee members for the Anna University Football Team selection held at Adhiyaman College of Engineering, Hosur on 02/12/2023 & 03/12/2023.
21. Our student Sherjin C.K (IV Year ECE) won First Place in the 2nd World Silambam Open Championship – 2024 held on 27/01/2024 at Pattaya, Thailand.
22. The Annual Sports Meet was held on 15/03/2024 and inaugurated by Mr. S. Sivarajan, Indian Volleyball Player, Southern Railway.
