Dr.S.Jerold Xavier was graduated in Zoology in 1991 from Lekshmipuram College of Arts and Science affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. Post graduate degree in Zoology from Kamaraj College, Tuticorin affiliated to M.S.University. He abtained M.Phil. Zoology in St.Xavier's College, Palayamkottai affiliated to M.S.University. He awarded Ph.D. Zoology from M.S.University, Tirunelveli. He also studied Bachelor of Library and information Science (B.L.I.Sc.) in Madurai Kamaraj University. He got Master of Library and information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) in Annamalai University, Chidambaram. He abtained his M.Phil. degree in Library and Information Science in Annamalai University. In addition to that he got P.G.D.C.A. from M.S. University. He worked as Librarian in Sun College of Engineering and Technology, Nagercoil from 2000 to 2001. And he worked as Librarian in Jayamatha Engineering College, Aralvaimozhi from 2001 to 2003. Since August 2003 he has been working in the department of Central Library in St.Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamilnadu, India.
