GATE 2025 Mock Test – 11-01-2025

The GATE Mock Test 2025 took place as scheduled on January 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Civil Drawing Hall. A total of 57 students appeared for the mock test, with 2 students attempting two GATE papers, resulting in 59 answer sheets. The department-wise student participation was as follows: CSE: 30/36, ECE: 5/16, EEE: 2/16, IT: 5/14, Mechanical: 7/19, Civil: 5/7. Out of the 118 students registered for GATE 2025, 57 participated in the mock test.

Orientation on GATE to Second Year Students – 03-05-2024

An orientation session about GATE exam has been conducted for the Second year CSE-A students on 03-05-2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Dr. A. Jegatheesh was the resource person. 36 students participated and learned about the benefits of GATE exam in getting PSU jobs and higher studies at National Institutes.

Seminar on Career Guidance to GATE Aspirants – 18-04-2024

A seminar has been organized by GATE Training Cell to the Third year GATE 2024 appeared students and GATE Scorers. This session focused on the career opportunities based on GATE scores on 18-04-2024 from 10:45 AM to 12:15 PM. Dr. A. Jegatheesh, Managing Director of ALC Academy, Nagercoil was the resource person.

GATE Orientation to First Year Students – 07, 09, 11-03-2024

An orientation session about GATE exam has been conducted for all the first year students on 07-03-2024, 09-03-2024, and 11-03-2024 from 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM. Dr. V. Christus Jeya Singh and Dr. Suja A. Alex were the resource persons.

GATE Orientation – 20-09-2023

An orientation regarding the GATE exam was organized for the students by Mr. B. Ebeneser, Certified Career Analyst and Career Development Coach. It was held on 20-09-2023 at the Einstein Seminar Hall, D-Block from 10:45 AM to 12:45 PM. 134 students participated and benefited from this training.

Seminar on GATE Orientation to First Year Students – 25-05-2023

An orientation regarding the GATE exam was organized for first-year students by Dr. A. Jegatheesh on 25-05-2023 at the respective classrooms from 10:30 AM to 4:15 PM. Overall, 115 students participated and benefited from this training.

Training on GATE 2023 Tips and Guidelines – 03-02-2023

A training session was organized for registered students of GATE 2023 by Dr. A. Jegatheesh on 03-02-2023 at the IV-year CSE-B classroom. The resource person shared exam tips, shortcuts in engineering mathematics, and explained government job opportunities through GATE.

Two Day FDP on Teaching for GATE – 04 & 06-01-2023

The FDP was organized for faculty on 04-01-2023 and 06-01-2023. Sessions were conducted by Dr. A. Jegatheesh on GATE awareness, motivation strategies, and calculator usage. 25 and 23 staff members attended on the first and second days respectively.
