Math Club Inauguration (2022-2023)

The inauguration of Math Club was conducted on 22/12/2022 at 9.30am in the Einstein Seminar Hall. Ms. T. Julius Jenisha, Treasurer, welcomed the gathering. Faculty Advisor Dr. M. Felix Nes Mabel introduced the new office bearers. Secretary Ms. M. Theras Santhiya presented the annual plan. Dr. L. Mary Florida, HoD of Mathematics, introduced the chief guest, Dr. J. R. V. Edward, Principal of Scott Christian College, who emphasized the importance of Mathematics in daily life. Principal Dr. J. Maheswaran honored the guest. Mr. B. Shane Lensar gave the vote of thanks. The event concluded with the college anthem.

Quiz Competition

Held on 12/05/2023 and 13/05/2023, the competition aimed to develop students’ mathematical knowledge in engineering. Conducted by Mathematics faculty in a fun and engaging way, it helped recall fundamental topics like hypothesis testing. Prizes were awarded to the top three students in each class.

Mathematical Tricks Using Calculator

Conducted from 07/06/2023 to 09/06/2023, this class aimed at enhancing students’ mathematical ability using calculators. Faculty members taught efficient usage techniques, enabling students to solve complex problems quickly and easily.
