M.E. - Applied Electronics

This course gives the overview of ASIC and PLDs. It explains the design flow, programming technologies, types of FPGAs, and also the partitioning, floor planning, placement and routing including circuit extraction of ASIC. It describes the synthesis, simulation and testing of systems, and the different design issues of SOC.


This course provides the static and dynamic characteristics of measurement systems. It explains the different types of resistive and reactive sensors, self-generating sensors, Actuator drive characteristics and its various applications, It also discusses about the digital sensors and semiconductor sensors.


This course will familiarize students with methods used to understand Basic Network Mechanism, Multimedia networking applications and advanced networks concept. This also provides an overview of the traffic modeling and network security and management.
