St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering

St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering (Autonomous) vibrates with the vision of ‘Creating a Technically Empowered Humane Society’ by offering cutting edge technical and managerial education to the rural youth of Tamil Nadu and beyond. St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering is conferred with Autonomous Status from the academic year 2022-2023 for the next 10 years by UGC. St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering has Eight undergraduate programmes (CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, CIVIL, MECHANICAL, AI&DS and CSE(Cyber Security) ) and Nine postgraduate Programmes including MCA and MBA, besides nine University recognized research departments (CSE, ECE, EEE, CIVIL, MECHANICAL, IT, AI&DS, MCA and PHYSICS). Now Anna University has approved our Institution as "Institute Level Research Centre" for a period of three years upto June 2027. All the Programmes are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and all the UG and MBA programmes have permanent affiliation of the Anna University, Chennai.

Kanyakumari is located in Tamilnadu in South India, about 700 Kms. from Chennai the capital city of Tamilnadu, but the nearest major city is Trivandrum in Kerala state. Kerala border is very near to Kanyakumari, that's why a mixed culture of Kerala and Tamilnadu is seen in the area. The languages spoken are Tamil and Malayalam. It is well connected to the other parts of India by road, rail and air. Nearest airport is Trivandrum, which is 87 Km from Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari has a railway station with many trains running towards Chennai, Mumbai, Calcutta, Delhi etc. Some trains are running daily and some weekly. Also train facilities can be availed from Nagercoil Junction (NCJ/NJT).

The nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport, located 65 km away. It is directly connected to Bangalore, Mumbai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, and Chennai by regular flights.

Nagercoil is connected to Trivandrum, Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai through a broad-gauge railway network. Tirunelveli (80 km) is the other nearest railway junction and can be reached by road via Nagercoil.

For every accepted paper, at least one author must register and present the work at the conference.
