This course is designed to give an overall
knowledge about management in terms of its nature, scope, culture,
environments, evolution of management, major contributions and theories of
management and the elaborate details on the functions of management. Upon the
completion students will be able to formulate strategic plans, design
management decisions, organize resources, manage human resource and apply
control techniques in the discharge of his management functions in the light of
various management thoughts and theories.
