Technology developments that have occurred are the result of joint efforts of Physicists and Engineers. The subject of Materials Science is to impart basic knowledge in various engineering materials and their applications. This course covers topics such as phase diagrams, ferrous alloys, mechanical properties, magnetic, dielectric and super conducting materials, and new materials. These topics are of great significance in engineering field and also form the basis of many applications.
