This course aims to equip the students with an understanding of the
fundamental principles of electrical engineering. It discusses the essentials
of electric circuits, its analysis and the basic operation of electric machines
and transformers. It gives an introduction of renewable sources, domestic loads,
electricity tariffs, measuring instruments and transducers.
