Dr. V. Christus Jeya Singh graduated in Bachelor of Engineering in 1995 from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. He obtained his Masters Degree (M.E.) in Thermal Engineering from Madurai Kamarajar University in the year 1996. He has been awarded the Ph.D. by Anna University, Chennai. He has been the Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering at St.Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering since 1998. He has about twenty years of teaching experience in engineering institutions. His area of interest includes thermal engineering, energy technology, biomass gasification, etc,. He has guided several projects to the under graduate and post graduate students. He has published more than ten research articles in Journals and conferences, out of which six were published in reputed international journals. He has attended more than twenty seminar/workshop/faculty development program and organized three workshops. He is a member of many professional bodies including Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

Dr. G. Antony Miraculas earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2000 from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. He pursued his Master’s degree (M.E.) in Thermal Engineering at Bharathiar University, completing it in 2001. In recognition of his research contributions, he was awarded a Ph.D. by Anna University, Chennai, in 2015.Since 2006, He has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering. With over twenty years of teaching experience, he has played a significant role in shaping engineering education. Currently, he holds the position of Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, where he leads academic and research initiatives.In addition to his teaching responsibilities, He is an active research supervisor, mentoring six research scholars in the field of mechanical engineering. As an approved supervisor, he guides research in emerging areas of mechanical engineering, with a particular focus on renewable energy and biomaterials.

Dr. Ajith J Kings graduated in Mechanical Engineering and then received post graduation degree in CAD/CAM. He is involved in teaching and research for more than eleven years in engineering institutions and 2 years of industrial experience. Currently involved in developing alternative fuels from third generation algae feedstocks for biodiesel generation. He has good publications in international SCI journals and is a life time member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). He has taught various courses related to Mechanical Engineering, well versed in software packages such as ANSYS, IDEAS, Pro-E, AutoCAD, etc. and familiar with optimization techniques. He has organized technical seminars and workshops.

Dr. M. Felix Xavier Muthu was graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2002. He obtained his master degree in Manufacturing Engineering from National Engineering College, Kovilpatti in 2004. He obtained his Ph.D. in Welding Technology from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2015. He has more than thirteen years of teaching and research involvement in engineering institutions. He is an approved supervisor of Anna University in the faculty of Mechanical Engineering. His area of interest includes Welding Technology, Material Sciences and Mechanical Testing.

Dr. M.Antony Forster obtained his B.E degree in Mechanical Engineering from RVS college of Engg, Dindigul, and M.E. degree in Industrial Engineering from Thiagarajar college of Engg,Madurai, both affliated to Madurai Kamaraj University,He is the reciepient of 3rd prize in the National Student's Design Competition. He has completed his Ph.D. in Anna University .His industrial career spans over 7 and odd years in leading Industries in the capacities of Engineer, Asst. Manager in India & Manager in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He has 17 and odd years of experience in teaching.which is inclusive of his experience in Institut Megatech,KualaLumpur, Malaysia and 2 other engg colleges in the vicinity of Nagercoil. He is teaching various courses related to Mechanical Engg and had organised many technical seminars and workshops. He also had been in the shoes of a placement officer for brief period of time. Currently he is the coordinator for ISHRAE student's chapter at St.Xavier's Engg College.

Prof. V. T. Vijumon graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, in 2002 and a Masters of Technology degree in Advanced Manufacturing from SASTRA University, Tanjore, in 2005. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Anna University, Chennai. With nearly twenty years of experience in teaching and research at engineering institutions, he has been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering since 2005. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he has been serving in the position of Deputy Controller of Examinations since 2022. He has published over five research articles in international journals and conferences. He has attended more than hundred seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs. His research interests encompass material sciences, mechanical testing, and composite materials. He is proficient in software tools such as Inventor, Fusion360, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc. He teaches various mechanical engineering courses and has organized numerous technical seminars and workshops. He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

Dr. Y.Balto received his B.E. Degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Jeyamatha Engineering, affiliated to Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Thirunelveli and his M.E Degree (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) in College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University and completed his Ph.D (Energy Efficient Buildings) in Anna University, Chennai. He was done master’s degree project work at IIT-M under the research area of synthesis of nano particles and its characterization and the work was published in international level referred journal. He joined as Assistant Professor in St.Xavier’s catholic college of engineering during the year 2010. Before joining this institution, he gained seven years of teaching experience from various engineering institutions in tamilnadu, India. He has guided more than 30 M.E/M.Tech students and many B.E. students for their Project Works. His major research work includes heat flux reduction in buildings, heat load estimations, developing novel thermal insulation materials and synthesis & characterization of Nano materials. His areas of interest are energy efficient buildings, heat transfer, nano & composite materials, finite element analysis and advances in manufacturing engineering.
Being Tamil as his mother tongue, he is proficient in English and Malayalam languages. His hobbies are reading books, and delivering motivational talks to students.

Dr. M. L. Ajin was Graduated in Mechanical Engineering, Post graduated in Engineering Design and completed Ph.D in Metal Matrix Composites using Nano Materials. He has been in the teaching profession for the past ten years. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India. He has four years of teaching experience and five years of research experience in various engineering institutions. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering, Nagercoil. He got UGC-BSR Research Fellowship during his research period. He has published ten research articles in various reputed journals, out of which seven articles in SCI journals list. He has attended many international and national conferences/workshop/FDP’s. Mr. F. Adritowin graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 from St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil. He has also obtained his Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Energy Engineering with First Rank and Distinction in 2021 from St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil. In 2023, he earned his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources Management from Anna University, Chennai. He is proficient in software such as MATLAB, Scilab, AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, ANSYS and CFD. He is also the winner of the 150 Innovators Challenge on Sustainability organized by the IET.
Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil. He is passionate about research that focuses on technically innovative and sustainable ideas, developing them into products that promote entrepreneurship. He also serves as the Department Placement Coordinator, IIC Coordinator and Innovation Ambassador, IGEN SDG Ambassador and GATE Exam Coordinator. His areas of interest include Sustainable Hydrogen Technologies, Additive Manufacturing, Future Vehicle Technologies and Alternative Fuels.

Dr. Sergius Joe M., an Assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering department, has over seven years of experience teaching Mechanical Engineering and holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering. His research interests include biomaterials, nanocomposites, material characterization, agro-waste utilization, and the characterization of natural fibers and their composites. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University in 2024 and has published a number of research papers in reputable international journals. In the Department of Mechanical Engineering of St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, he also holds the position of Research Supervisor, affiliated with Anna University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and Lifetime member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

Dr. Anjan Augustine is a distinguished researcher with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate Program in Data Science. His research primarily focuses on waste-to-energy gasification. With over three years of academic experience, his expertise encompasses thermodynamics, heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and renewable energy technologies. He has played an active role in technical workshops and conferences, fostering knowledge exchange and skill development. Beyond academia, Dr. Anjan has hands-on experience in Arduino-based automation, robotics, and machine learning applications in engineering. He has also made significant contributions to scientific research publications in the field of biomass energy conversion.
Research Interests: Biomass Co-Gasification & Waste-to-Energy Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Machine Learning Applications in Engineering.
