COURSE OVERVIEW

This course enables the participants to learn a cloud-based CAD/CAM tool for collaborative product development. The tools in Fusion enable exploration and iteration on product ideas and collaboration within a product development team. Using hands-on exercises, the participants explore how to create form, function, and fabrication of products.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The main objective is to teach you the necessary commands which enables fast and easy exploration of design ideas with an integrated concept to production toolset. After completing this course, participants will be able to:

▪ Work on collaborative product development

▪ Design with sculpting tools to explore form and modelling tools to create finishing features

▪ Create assemblies with photo realistic renderings and animations

▪ Perform engineer simulations to test fit and motion

▪ Use the precision drafting tools to develop accurate technical drawings

PROJECT WORK

Participants are required to do a project work as a part of the program. The project work should be done in groups, with 4 or 5 participants in a group
