About SXCCE

St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering was started in 1998 and is being run by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kuzhithurai. St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering (SXCCE) vibrates with the vision of "Creating a Technically Empowered Humane Society" by offering cutting edge Engineering and Managerial education to the rural youth of Tamil Nadu and beyond. SXCCE offers seven undergraduate programs in Engineering in the specializations of i) Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, ii) Civil Engineering, iii) Computer Science and Engineering, iv) Electrical and Electronics Engineering, v) Electronics and Communication Engineering, vi) lnformation Technology, and vii) Mechanical Engineering, and six Engineering postgraduate programs in the   specializations of i) Structural Engineering, ii) Computer Science and Engineering, iii) Power Electronics and Drives, iv) Communication Systems, v) Medical Electronics, and  vi) Energy Engineering, plus two postgraduate programs i) MBA and ii) MCA. The UG programs CE, CSE, EEE, ECE, IT and ME, and the PG programs MBA and MCA have  permanent affiliation with Anna University, Chennai. The College is accredited with grade "A" by National  Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The UG programs Civil, CSE, EEE, ECE, IT and  Mechanical are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college is recognized under 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act 1956. The Institution was granted autonomous status by UGC and Anna University with effect from the academic year 2022-2023. The college is approved as institute level research centre by Anna University Chennai.

About the Departments

The Department of Civil Engineering was started in 1999 to cater the growing needs of builders for our nation and to the world at large. The department offers Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, PG program in M.E. Structural Engineering and  UG program in Civil Engineering. The department has qualified and experienced faculty and latest instruments, equipment and software for imparting technical knowledge on par with international requirements. The department is accredited by NBA for the period from 2021 - 2024. The   consultancy cell of the department is active in testing the quality of materials like concrete, brick, soil, water, bitumen, aggregates and steel reinforcement. The department also undertakes assignment with Govt. and   private     sectors.

The Department of Chemistry with its theory and laboratory programmes trains the leaner in the basic chemical process and technologies. This would set the basics for the engineers who would require such fundamentals inorder to glow as accomplished technocrats.

 

SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE

Maintaining a comfortable life in harmony with the environment and nature is the need of the hour, It is possible only through integration of technology, nature and human beings. Fifth International Conference on  Advances in Sustainability of Materials and Environment (ICASME '25) provides an arena for scientists, research scholars, industrialists and students to exchange their novel ideas on the latest advances in science and      technology for the sustainability of materials and environment. The Conference focuses on the interaction     between the theoretical and practical applications in the given area. Also it will lead to collaborative R&D works and new project proposals with the end results of sharing knowledge among research scholars, industrialists, faculty members and students

CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit their original and unpublished research papers related to the given topics by the registration link.

SUBMISSION

The maximum number of pages is not restricted, but the word documents should be an A4 single column format with Times New Roman and font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing and less than 15% similarity.

PUBLICATION

For accepted papers, at least one author should register and present their papers. Selected papers will be published in conference proceedings with ISBN. All the accepted papers will be reviewed and further arrangements will be made to publish the selected papers in SCOPUS indexed and Web of Science journals (only papers presented in the conference will be considered for inclusion). The accepted articles will be published with additional article processing fee if any .
