Innovative Teaching methods
- Hi-tech classrooms and laboratories are equipped with a projector facility and Wi-Fi access
- Each faculty prepares the course file for every subject and delivers the academic plan concerning program course outcomes, program outcomes, and mapping in the classroom.
- Course Instructors revise the topics for the first 5 minutes which is taught in the previous class and summarize the content in the last 5 minutes
- Multimedia teaching methods such as demonstrations using PPTs, simulations, and video clips are adopted by the faculty members to teach the course content.
- Mind-map is adopted by faculty members to enable the students to easily understand and remember complex topics.
- Case study and role play approaches are followed by the faculty in the teaching and learning process.
- Student seminars help the students improve their communication skills and self-learning.
- Participatory learning methods like quizzes and group discussions are followed to make the students more attentive and involved.
- Assignments are given to students so that they gather extra information beyond classroom learning and help the students improve their reading, problem-solving, and writing skills.
- To satisfy the needs of the advanced learners, special seminars, training, and GATE coaching are systematically done.
- Each student is provided with a personal login wherein they can download course Material, Syllabus, Question bank, Assignment topics, Short videos, and NPTEL video links.
- Students are encouraged to refer to NPTEL lectures, videos, and study materials on the internet to improve their knowledge.
- Students are motivated to use Google Classrooms for lecture notes and post assignments.
